Mortgage Document Checklist...
Here is a general list of documents that are needed to
complete your mortgage application. Each underwriter is different and may
ask for additional documentation once your mortgage application is reviewed.
These documents you WILL
need:

W2's all employers for the past 2
years.

Most recent 30 days of pay stubs for
all current employers. 2 if you are paid every 2 weeks or 4 if you are
paid every week.

Two most recent bank statements for
ALL accounts. PLEASE SEND EVERY PAGE, EVEN IF THEY ARE BLANK.

Recent statements for all retirement
accounts. PLEASE SEND EVERY PAGE, EVEN IF THEY ARE BLANK.

Recent statements for all
investments, such as stocks, bonds, etc. PLEASE SEND EVERY
PAGE, EVEN IF THEY ARE BLANK.

Property tax statements and
homeowners insurance policy for any other real estate owned.

Check for appraisal ($300 - $400
depending on the loan type).
These documents you MAY need:

Past 2 years of FULL
federal
tax returns (1040's) (if self employed, commissioned, skilled trades).

Print out from the Friend Of The Court showing monthly payment, how long you have been
receiving or paying and that there are no arrearages (if receiving or paying child support).

Divorce Decree.
-
Bankruptcy papers.
-
Letters explaining past
bankruptcies, foreclosures or late payments.
